Please Note: Beginning Sunday, June 4, 2017, there will be one service at 9 a.m. It will include a Choral Eucharist in the Sanctuary as well as our Family Service of the Word in the Chapel. We will resume our regular schedule after Labor Day.
Our Sunday worship begins with a Contemplative Eucharist at 8:00 a.m. In the quiet of the early morning, we say prayers, hear from Scripture, observe silence and share in the Lord’s Supper.
At 9:00 a.m., there is conversation in the Lounge over coffee, Adult Choir rehearsal and often discussion groups focused on the Bible, cultural issues facing the church or living a Christian life.
Then, for everyone at 10:00 a.m., there’s the Choral Eucharist in the Sanctuary. During the Liturgy of the Word, for those who need more movement, there is the option of the Family Service of the Word in the Chapel. Before the Offertory, those who are in the Family Service of the Word process back into the sanctuary where we all come together to share in Holy Communion.
The youngest among us are welcome in worship. However, if parents need a quiet place to calm an infant or toddler, there is a rocking chair in the Lounge where they can hear a broadcast of the service.
